Looking for a New PC game..

So Guys, i have recently been wanting to buy a new computer game so i can play while i am at school.. I am looking for some what of a RPG , but maybe an action game.. I already have portla , cs 1.6 , CSS , and such.. So post here with suggestions..

I was thinking about getting RAGE it seems fun but i am really curious what games people play.​

 

Dungeon Defenders - it is a hybrid of a tower defense game and hack and slash RPG/Action game. It looks really fun, I have watched YT videos on it, it is multiplayer only I believe. Don't know if you can play MP games at school.

I will def look into that I was hoping for an OS game , i have a MBP , but its boot camped but it'd be a pain to switch to windows to play a game.

 

W40K: Dawn Of War 2
RTS/RPG style leveling.

Titan Quest
I have it, yet to play it, seen a little bit of gameplay looks alright.

Mount And Blade: Warband
RPG style leveling, third & first person, basically create your own army fight other armies, get your own kingdom etc etc, look up gameplay to get what I mean.

Killing Floor
FPS team based zombie survivor.

Rage apparently was terrible at launch on PC, haven't seen much about it recently, but apparently it's a horrible console port so IMO wouldn't trust it.

 

Wait for skyrim

 

Rage was a complete disappointment, from the company that has made some of the most known and glorified games in history they completely it was a total let down, stay away from it until it's price goes to $20 or something.

What your asking for in a game sounds like Fallout or perhaps S.T.A.L.K.E.R. .

 

I think thats what im going to do.

 

TF2. Free and fucking awesome.

 

i feel like i am over any FPS, i guess im looking for something with a free open world map where i can explore and fuck shit up.

 

Pickup Oblivion and Morrowind from the TES series too!

 

Project survival, played it a couple years back, very good game.

I like Warzone 2100

As far as games to get, BF3 just came out yesterday and looks like a good time.

But I wouldn't expect to get even 10fps on most school computers

 

Global Operations all the way. I absolutely love that game.

 

League of Legends, uh, Portal 2 and FIFA 12.

 

What are the specs on the school computers? I highly doubt a school computer will run Oblivion even on lowest settings, but that's what I'd recommend if they somehow can. One of the best RPG games released imo.

The Total War series has also been a favorite of mine, but that's RTS more so than RPG.

 

I have fifa 12 for xbox.

Sorry i thought it was clear that i live at school i go to college, so i have my lap top with me.. I'll be able to run anything.

El diable 3 is epic its like runescape but way more fun.

Rome total war 2 Its strategy but ownage and so much fun.

 

Skyrim will be worth waiting for, if you need something to do in the meantime get fallout 3 with all add ons. Once your bored with it you can mod the shit out of it and make a completely different game.
