Runescape bots...

A lot of people talking sh*t about how they have never botted in their Runescape life, lets be honest, everyone has at least tried a bot and clearly if this 'nuke' actually erases bots completely everyone will have to say goodbye to buying items in bulk for that desired 99 skill, online GP sellers etc.

And one of my favourites, killing green dragon bots...

Runescape is about to change massively, so all of you that are happy about bots being banned you will be moaning when you have to pick flax for a living...

 

This is especially true lol.

 

I don't think bots are going to be banned, I think its more about disabling the bots that are being used. In the announcement they spoke about 1.5m bots BEING banned past tense, the nuke is about shutting off all the technology used to bot. They wouldn't ban 99% of their userbase, that would cause the game and economy to fail

 

Yeah that is a good point, I'm just pointing my opinion to the people that say they have never botted when they clearly have!

yeah and lets hope they don't make a daft decision like they did when taking free trade away! Its their business they're going to ruin

This is not true. I have not used any bots on my accounts and I have never bought RSGP for real money..

Lets be honest...not everyone has tried a bot...I haven't tried a bot once!...I have bought gold (a little bit) but that is the extent of my "cheating"

 

I don't use bots either, god this thread is an outrage!



If the bots never came back everyone would be mad because then we get hyperinflation because of lack of consumables but lots and lots of gold.

 

I don't think bots are as important as people seem to think.
I do not mind bots gathering up resources as I want these always available. But no matter what, with or without bots, resources will still be gathered for the right price. Prices will rise, and people will see there is money in skilling again. Sure, there will be some inflation, but the game will be a better one and a stronger one if Jagex is able to get rid of as many bots as they think.

 

they won't be gone forever. They'll find a way to get around the system like they've done numerous times before.

 

GP is going to be so much easier to earn once bots leave.

 

I guess that they're still banning people. Ones they couldnt catch upto, that bot a lot, and then since they can't bot, the accounts wont be used, and they ban them then.
At least that's what I was told.
