    Did anyone else get this email?
    Seems like one of those phisher emails, I get things like this all of the time. Literally 5+ a day on my junk email account.


    Jagex failed to get full copyright status in the US so if they are going to try to sue you in the US over copyright violation then it is pretty much not going to happen. I read an article about them trying to sue bot makers somewhere, I can't remember where.

    they probably said about the lawsuit, not because they hate bots, but because they want to reclaim money from losing money from goldfarmers purchasing membership :p

    About all the phish accusations, well I sold my main a couple months back. The email was linked to my current email so I'm probably receiving this email through my previous email.

    So I shouldn't worry at all? Because this email is just fucking convincing lol got me worried.

    Fake emails always say "Dear PLAYER" and real ones will always have your runescape account name. I created a thread about this just now to hopefully stop these threads from being posted again
