"Bot Nuke Day" - 10/25/11 - Refer to this thread for ALL discussion on this topic

Something will of course happen; Soon I would of guessed. Jagex are a smart company and wouldn't make such a big deal of something that isn't going to happen. I am not in support of this update in a way I am dreading getting 99 strength legit. The update shall however help RuneScape out. I am looking forward for green dragons in the near future; 100k a trip again? So I suppose I am a bit on both sides if I was maxed then I would be completely for this update; seeming as I am not, I am not so sure.

My Verdict: I think Jagex may be able to hold off botters for maybe a couple of weeks, this sounds ridiculous but I'm sure the bot developers will be working day and night to work around this update. Arbiter from RSBuddy is however certain that they will ''survive'' this ''nuke''. Thanks for reading my 2 pence on this update.

Jagex fail.

It's been 20minutes since the nuke timer hit 0 and still no update or sign of bots being banned.

Whats the point in having a timer if when the timer finishes, nothing happens.

BOTS ARE STILL WORKING use up your final chance whilst you still can !

I am still botting, and they will not be able to kill all the botters IMO.

 

Every single one of my bots turned off sometime last night (first time ever).

Yeah its kinda wierd that it doesn't seem that any bots are gone yet. I don't see the point of them having a big countdown and event when nothing even really happens right when they announce it..

 

I doubt its a bluff, can't wait for the update.
