Well, today is the update to "nuke bots" I went ahead and created this thread to keep down the multiple threads, that would otherwise be created.

"Launch Imminent" on the front page, guess we still have to wait till Jagex decide to do the update.

 

So can anyone tell me? What is happening? i think the 98% of people who they said would not be botting are just not botting just incase something happens not because something will happen

Apparently they are flushing the servers one by one, I'm w24 and nothing has happened yet here.

 

What's the point of putting a timer if nothing happens when it reachs Zero? ...

 

The only thing they nuked at this point was their own threats. I know the update is yet to happen, but as the mighty George Carlin would say "Get the fuck outta here (Jagex)!"

 

yeah my guess would be following 24 hours, something will happen. Otherwise jagex are going to be subject to the biggest abuse.

 

Okay so when it was on 20 seconds to go, there was 94,000 people online. Its about 5 minutes after now and there are 98.7k people online.

I went to frost dragons as it happend, there was only one person botting and hes still there 10 minutes after the launch.

GF Jagex but this is what you get when you let Danny the Intern call the shots.

 

A Jagex mod posted on the official RS forums saying to wait for the update. I'm not sure why they bothered with a 24hr countdown if the update wasn't immediately on the other end of it.

 

if this fails, jagex better wear bulletproof vests to runefest, lol.

 

LOL, im speaking to mates on TS now and not one of their bots have been banned.

EDIT : awesome stranger why did you edit/alter my first post on this topic (the one with the picture) ?

 

I'm pretty sure a J-mod confirmed it wasn't a mass ban.

 

I guess I'll just be staying logged in on rs til the update.
