I guess its a good suggestion.

I was thinking that why not make like a kind of chatbox for sythe?? where theres a little icon next to the players profile where it says ''live chat'' and the other person has to accept and then both of them get redirected to a little chat screen where they can discuss prices etc. also its much more easier because you dont have to add everyones msn or skype etc.

    also its much more professional.

You can always just delete people from your list, so it doesn't get cluttered. I think it would be harder getting proof this way if someone did scam you is what I got from it, and what do you mean by a little chat screen?

maybe it could be like rs where it says everything said or done on this chatscreen will be kept for proof. (all logs get saved)

also chatscreen i mean like you see those gold selling websites? where theres live chats where u can talk to your seller? thats what i mean. both you and your partner get redirected to something like that where you can talk i reckon its much better then msn + skype. also i dont think any other forums has this so it could be very unique.

I guess its a good suggestion.

You could implement the unofficial IRC channel in the site I suppose.

^^ Good idea. But for Sythe to have it's own on site chat? That would be a lot of work when the IRC is there. I like the idea, but I doubt it would ever happen. Our best bet is for the unofficial IRC to be integrated into Sythe.org as mentioned above.

I still believe in my old idea that I posted years ago. When you're buying/selling an account, you have to undergo different stages of the process and take proof of each transaction etc.

Person A wants to buy person B's account. So example:

Person A puts forward an offer of USD and payment method, that the receiver (person B) has an accept/reject/counter-offer button for.

Let's say person B accepts person A's offer of $100 and clicks 'accept' on the offer. This is then saved on sythe and they have to undergo the 'selling' process.

Person A gets to chat to person B via a sythe message system so all chat logs are saved (kinda like pms) and discusses the ins and outs of the trade fully. When both parties feel safe to trade, person A has to pay the person and take screenshots of the payment that has been posted to person B's selected email/paypal etc. and then clicks payment sent. Then person B has to click payment received when he receives the payment.

I thought of this years ago, and my original post was much more in-depth with a better system, but that's the outline of my idea; it's very similar to how player auctions works now actually.

In fact, I don't see why Sythe doesn't just adopt PA's method of trading, at least then both parties are secured and if you do get scammed, then it isn't just a case of banning the other person. You'd also be able to claim your money/account back.

I think it's a pretty good idea. A chat box right on Sythe for doing trades that records all converstaion onto the Sythe web site. So no one can alter the conversation and would be easier for mods to look at it if someone does scam. But they should really implement buying/selling features to make things easier on here.

I guess its a good suggestion.

It would help in terms of solving the problem of imposters on MSN/Skype. Both people would be 100% sure that each is talking to the right person.

Lots of new forums have this. It would be nice, but it would also be an incredible burden to the server. It's not going to happen.
