Acne Remedies...

Hey, I myself have a mild case of acne, and I brake out every so often. I'm sure some of you do to, or have had to deal with acne, so my question is do you guys have any tips/cures/home remedies to get rid of acne. I've been reading up on some methods such as an apple detoxification diet, and various home made face masks. Do any of you have any methods that have helped you?

 

stay hydrated - drink lots of water. that's what i do and it does wonders for me.

 

Piss in clothe rub on face. #Legit.

 

I REALLY recommend something like yahoo answers for this, there's tonnes of trainee and even doctors/nurses on that site happy to help, I ask them for medical problems whenever I have/suspect something, I'm pretty sure they'll give you some god damn good advice on what to do, or you could just "Google it" as google is a god..

If you want a permanent solution for your acne go away go with accutane, it's a prescribed medication.

If it's not that bad try out the different clearasil face washes.

Dont bother with these home remedies.

 

I know a guy on accutane and it does nothing for him, I'm also on proactive right as well and it isn't working either. I don't think I'm going to bother with commercial products, and I think I'm going to try out some detoxification diets. I'm going to cut down on the junk food as well, and I'll try to stay as hydrated as possible.

Wash face often, keep hair off of face, keep hair clean, drink lemon juice in water, sleep with a towel on your pillow, apply toothpaste at night to the affected areas.

 

Accutane drys out your skin, your acne gets worse but improves after you've finished the course as i said it's a permanent solution in most cases.

Clearly you and your friend dont understand the drug or you're judging it based on one persons experiences.

Go to a qualified dermatologist.

 

Thanks for the tips so far guys! But my acne isn't severe, so I don't think I should be reverting to drugs just yet. I've got a few pimples here and there, a couple on my back, and a little bit on the sides of my face.

 

I just try to drink a couple water bottles a day, eat a salad, and stay away from junk food. It's helped quite a bit. Plush I shower after running everday.

 

My brother had real bad acne and he used accutane or whatever it's called and it cured him . One of my friends had acne aswell and he used this pill that is used to cure chlaymedia forgot what it's called now but it worked for him . As for myself I've had pimples ever since I was 16.

I'm now 20 and have never used anything I still have slight acne and I'm just about sick of it now and thinking of going on something I have my good and bad weeks. My tips would be get a some sunlight and drink lots of water and wash your face before bed and change your pillow case often.
