that 98%?

are they banning 98% of bots
or making it so 98% of the bots wont work anymore?

cause i just finished botting 80dung, and i x-fered all my rares off my account to a mule cause im sketchn

 

Keep your rares on a mule account, but they are going to try and make it so 98% of bots won't work anymore

 

Supposedly 98% of bots won't work anymore, which is a little bit of an overestimate in my opinion. I think they said they banned 1.5 million botters, but it's mainly for gold farming things like rune essence, dragon killing and the like.

 

I don't really care if people train skills like Slayer, but I hate the goldfarmers. They're ruining the game. :\

 

I sorta agree, but they also make life ALOT easier by making gold cheaper and raw materials cheaper (notably bones)

 

They won't suddenly ban all accounts; they'll disable the bots using a trick in their own system. RiD is neither of the 2 affected ones, so that'll rise. RSBuddy and RSBots will get over it sooner or later.

 

I'm not that bothered about bots, I don't do it but so long as there's not a horde of them when I'm training then there's no complaints from me. Jagex are trying to get rid of autotypers as well which I seriously can't wait for seeing as the Grand Exchange is always full of them.

 

It is so they won't work anymore, and that 1.5 million number is probably all the accounts banned since 2001

 

They aren't banning. Just making bot clients not work tbh I think it's all another bluff. Fuck Fagex.

lol they say 98% of the bots because when legit players are still wining about the bots they can say well we did only say it would be affective against 98% there is still that 2%, but in the end if there was no bots, and everything in the game's price rises they are all gonna complain, this is too expensive that is too expensive

 

Lol be afraid be very afraid, it's probably in your best intrests to keep your most vaulables on your mule for the time being, prepare yourself for the worst and tbh even after this is over you're never 100% safe, I recently recieved black marks from something that I did months ago. Feelsbadman
