Limited PayPal Donation Rollout

Even though you are banned, I think this is an excellent idea. The only problem with that is that Matthew would have to personally enter the codes, and your paypal will most likely eventually get limited from it.

 

I hope to become eligible for such a donation payment method soon. I checked my Donation Center page and found no PayPal payment options.

Worse comes to worst, I will just donate with RSGP.

Wait...I thought he meant you would buy a greendot pack worth the amount you want for donating and give the code to Matthew(which would go to/be used on the Paypal for Paypal donations). Who's Paypal would get limited in that case?

 

You're not technically supposed to accept MoneyPak as a payment. I can speak from personal experience, both Busta305 & I had our Paypal's limited, and then closed, due to "Misuse of the MoneyPak Product"

(We each uploaded roughly $3,000 worth of MoneyPak's into our respective accounts.)

 

Did you talk to Paypal?

I guess you can't accept payments via MP being that something to reload your personal account.

I spoke with them on numerous occasions, musta called in at least 10 times and got the same answer from all them "There is absolutely nothing you can do at this point in time to reverse the allegations placed against you, your funds will be made available to your in 180 days time, please be patient." or something along those lines...

 

Seriously? Does it ever end with Paypal and their bullshit? Good God. I finally though (outside of PA) that there was a safe way to receive payments via Paypal. Paypal freaking sucks so much... I really hate them.

 

I know Sythe won't have a currency and that is in DNS list, but it should at least support a few that actually WORK.

 

Yeah, Paypal can be a little too unreasonable sometimes. Btw, I didn't mean that I would use it myself, I was trying to see if I could understand what was said when it was brought up. =p Although it would've been a bit safer than the usual Paypal payments on here.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It would have been another safer way to take Paypal payments(if it weren't for what Snow let us know).

 

Trying to get hold of FireZ so i can use this method to donate, $50-100.

I was contemplating getting money exchanged to USD and putting it in an envelope and mailing it somewhere just to get my $50 rank!

Yes.
It isn't hard to donate through FireZ if you want to paypal donate. It is to stop people donating immediately then scamming / then charging back later.

 

I guess I need to donate via RSGP before I'm eligible to donate via PayPal. Great update though... just noticed that this was implemented.
