Ofcourse its bullshit, they constantly lie. Or, avoid tha truth. Nobody seems to realize that.

They seriously arent on top of their game.

 

This change won't affect the game that much anyway, I have no idea why Jagex would not do such a thing. Jagex has never let down its players directly to this degree.

Plus, anyone who knows a little about the basics of Java know this is easily possible.

 

I find it kind of silly.. Jagex said everything that were going to do.. I find that stupid on there part.. they gave out all information.. retards

 

I think this whole thing is a major bluff, or atleast an "exaggeration" on Jagex's part. I think Jagex is caught in the middle of this "war on bots", and this whole bot-nuke on Tuesday is just a bunch of BS being spoonfed to the legit players to keep them happy and convince them Jagex is actually doing something about the bot problem. Jagex WILL make some major changes to the game, aswell as ban some of the major goldfarming bots, but I don't think they would ever want to completely 100% wipeout bots from Runescape. Bots make up a HUGE portion of their companies' income, and regardless of what anybody thinks, they are a business and do not want to lose the revenue.

I find it kind of strange that Jagex announces this a week in advance rather than just springing it on us, and they clearly state that it will have an affect on "reflection" based bots. Its almost like they are giving out a warning a week early so that the scripters have time to adjust and get rid of any reflection based coding in the scripts so that the bots won't be severely affected after Tuesday's update.

This is all in theory, and I could be completely wrong. But with Jagex's history with situations like this in the past, and their reputation for being a greedy, money-hungry company, I only see them trying to find the middle ground in this situation to make the MOST money possible. If they can find a way to please the legit players so that they will keep subscribing, aswell as allow enough bots to continue to work so they will also continue to subscribe, then they will take that option.
