Fire: The Best Way to Shave?

Today, my friend accidentally grazed some of my stubble while he was trying to light my cigarette (in my mouth) for me. It's one of those "turbo" lighters that gives off as if it were a mini blow-torch.

I went home and looked in the mirror and noticed that there was no stubble on the spot he grazed.

I'm one of the people who are left with that scratchy, visible bit of stubble after a shave but that fire just burned some of my stubble off completely, and left me with smooth skin.

So is fire the best way to shave, if applied correctly?

What's the worst that could happen? (excluding burns)

If you can do it on your face, imagine what it could do to get rid of your Pubic hair.

Okay but seriously, I would just try getting a better razor, fire could burn you pretty bad.

Have any suggestions on magical razors that will turn my stubble-ful chin into baby skin? :D

so what if you had enough skill to be able to shave with fire without getting burned?
What other side-effects would be there?

Besides the stench I think it would probably permanently damage your skin or roots, but I have no studies/proof to back that up.

    So...

    Try it out.

Don't they light you in a Turkish shae? I'm sure they have a safe method, try you tubing Turkish shave? :) if not, instead of shaving foam, shave with shampoo. Sounds silly but it's amazing!

This is interesting, and I've wanted to look into it before (but forgot to research it futher), but you'd really have to be careful if you have long hair. They have professional people who use fire to cut and shave hair, it's suppose to be extremely healthy for both your hair and your skin.

tbh I thought you were a girl.

EDIT: Tbh though, I hate the feeling of closely shaved skin, my chin feels.... idk numb? It's weird. I prefer to cut it down to stubble with an electric trimmer.

Shave once with the grain, and again against the grain. It's the exact same thing.

Try to shave opposite way with a razor, without shaving cream. I've never met anybody who was unable to shave all of their facial hair off.

Fire seems like it could have long lasting negative effects but I'm not sure...

Don't play with fire man. Better off getting a decent razor.

Get a decent razor, and shaving cream also helps for comfort, hehe.

Fire may have done the job nicely, but damn that has got to smell...
