Remove 30 seconds and 5char in spam forum.

No post count gained. Remove the 30 seconds and or the 5 char needed in the spam forum ?

 

You can still spam the spam forum, unfortunately..
I support the current rules

 

5 char isn't needed, but oh well deal with it.

30 seconds prevents mass amounts of spam which can cause the site to go down,
I'm also pretty sure you can't remove that for a certain section. Every other forum I've admin'd didn't allow changing basic things like that for separate sections.

Live with it tbh.

 

Keep it as it is. It stops morons spamming more than they already do

There's no way to make those settings exclusive to certain forums... without a code fix that is, and in my opinion it's not worth the effort.

 

The 5char limit prevents people from quoting posts and saying nothing, it reduces the spam, I support it.

30 seconds also reduces spam but if you want just type out all the responses in different tabs and click submit every 30 seconds.

i would love to have a 4 character limit instead of 5 tho

saves me from saying "bump!" with the extra exclamation mark

 

Didn't know there was a spam forum until i stumbled upon this thread.

Although it is the Spam section, there are still some rules restricting to it.

Removing what you are suggesting would simply lead to unnecessary 'spam'.
