I ended up buying like 25k yews, cballs, iron ore, spread my money out between a few different things and if all else fails I'll have some consumables that I can use =P

 

f d bones are already rising, might buy 3b worth from dif accs. think an easy 20-30%

 

Some think in "b"s while I'm thinking in "m"s lol

 

What will happen to rares? A friend of mine bought 15 santa hats recently before quitting RuneScape because of the bots. Will those rise or drop? I'm not sure, it could go both ways.

 

Frost dragon bones would be the best choice

 

So at the end of the day I kind of spread my investments out between a few things. Right now I've got 25k yews, iron ore, p ess, 10k mages, 15k c balls.

I'd love to have thrown some into addy bars, but I wasn't thinking about 'em at the time, hopefully avianses will be a viable money making option once more. I'm really actually excited about being able to use old money making methods once again, I think there's going to be a bit of fun in it.

 

Once the update was announced, I purchased 19 abyssal whips at 500k each. The next day I logged in to find that they are being bought up for about 800k each. I still have them, waiting for a chance to get 1.1m or so.

I also have a dfs I bought for 11m, two furies I bought for 8.5m and 10 torag legs I bought for 3.5m and managed to sell around 6 of them for that price, looking to make about 2m on them .

Definitely easy money to be made!

Not sure why no one mentioned this. D-Bones dropped to 2.3K and when Jagex announced the botting update, they've been rising 100 gp every update and are currently at 3K. Will be a huge investment if you manage to hold onto it long enough until it hits back up to 5K each like how they were a year ago.

 

Frost dragon bones is definitely the way to go, since people will want to create turmoil pures in the future. If botters crash, frost d bones will definitely rise.

And like Video said, stick to items that actually disappear. Planks, raws, resources, anything that might be useful and disappears after use.

Weapons and armors will do fine though, since they also require botters to fight for it/resources to smith it. But I prefer investing in resources.

 

I've currently invested in:

100K Natures @ 116gp Each.

100K Raw Lobsters @ 118gp Each.

8300 Dragon bones @ 3619gp Each.

100K Oak Planks @ 427gp Each.

 

I'm thinking nats would be a pretty good investment, I think they've risen about 10 gp so far? But they're only around 100 each. Though it may be hard to get due to only 25k/hour unless you find some sellers
