I was day dreaming again in college, and my professor brought up a topic for everyone to talk about. I want to know your feelings on this particular subject.

    "Does boredom lead to trouble?"

Now please post with your answer and a brief explanation of why you think it is/isn't.

I think it's a definite possibility, but I think that depends on your personality. A good person who is bored could go out and do good things, and a bad person would go out an do 'troublesome' things.

That is very true. Now what if the "good person" stretches to become severely bored, and develops into a "bad person"? Or what is the line between good and bad people?

Then you have to ask yourself, were they ever truly good in the first place ?

The riots where not out of boredom, people rioted because of a police shooting.

and i don't think boredom leads to trouble, if someone is bored they won't naturally go out and rob a shop or beat up someone in the street unless your a lunatic, in which case boredom wouldn't be the culprit.

    Sometimes.

Boredom can drive people to do some very serious things. Especially if you are addicted to adrenaline rushes and such.

Boredom can lead to trouble, but it doesn't mean that boredom always leads to trouble.

A bored person can choose to either do things that led to trouble ( vandalism, theft for thrills ) or participate in activities which do not end up causing trouble.

    exactly.
I'll try to reiterate what useless said,
Boredom can lead to trouble but trouble does not necessarily come from boredom.

    Did I do good? :)
