Chaotic choice help ^^

Well hey,
First ever post here
i know that probably hundreds of these sorts of questions are asked but i've done my research and chaotic weps are mostly used for pking.
So, here's the situation: i don't pk...ever....not since like '09 and i was wondering like what's the best all rounder chaotic weapon out of the maul & rapier? I mostly PvM and frequently play mini-games.
My stats:
87 strength
80 attack
78 defence
Current prayer: piety
5k tokens from chaotics ^^

Note: i have a high str bonus: bandos, fury, zerker, regen brace, d boots etc

 

If your not much of a PKer but you like to do alot of PvM, then the rapier or longsword would probably suit your needs much better. Both are excellent choices for PvM. My personal favourite is the rapier!

Btw, this question does get posted alot, which is why there is a sticky up above in this section. Next time try to read the stickies before you make a thread

 

Oh, i forgot, i asked this because i wanted to know which weapon would be suitable for my stats and activities done

For your situation,
When PvMing, you should use the rapier, as it's fast and accurate most of the time,
But PvMing with your stats must be a challenge, depending on what monster you're bossing,
But you should try to get max cmb and get curses, you definitely wont regret it.

Rapier. Several people argue for the longsword, but the rapier is faster, hits similiar, and we all know that stab rapes on RS.

 

Use the sticky.
Rapier would definitely be best for you. It's the best weapon for pvm and safe pvp. The mauls only really for pvp and fun big hits.

 

Strt with the rapier. It's the go-to really.

 

They are all great but I would suggest the rapier first off.

 

Chaotic Rapier should everyones first chaotic purchased in my opinion.

 

Bossing = CLS
Anything else rapier

 

personally, I like mauls for minigames and with maul the dwarfmulticannon works really well for pvm. Rapier destroys everything if you have like 99 str and 99 attack with turm. otherwise i dont think rapier is worth it. Longsword is pretty fun too because it is the median of rapier and maul.
in the end i would choose maul

 

If you do PvM as in bossing CLS is the superior choice.

If you do PvM as in slaying rapier is a better choice.

 

Definately the rapier man.

 

If you do not PK, do you stake?

If so, Rapier.

If not, neither as after 10 hours of combat, you'll be wasting RSGP/tokens.
