Spilt suagaryt water on my xbox

Basically, as a detox method thingy, i've been drinking a lot of boiling hot water (I wait for it to cool) with lemons in it and sugar. When I was downstairs I tripped over and spilt an entire jug (like 2l) of this stuff on my xbox which was turned on. A lot of it went inside it when it was turned on and it turned off and wouldn't turn back on after I dried it. The power supply still works (I checked).
Is my xbox repairable or has stuff inside fried? Bearing in mind it was boiling hot sugary water that must have 'shorted' the xbox as current was running. any help guys? Thanks.

Water and electricity are never good things to mix together, if it could be repaired, I'm guessing only XBOX could do it for you.

Your best guess would be too send it to Microsoft to let them take a look at it,
Hopefully you were smart and got warranty :)
Or you can sell it on Craigslist or even here on Sythe and just buy a new one, better than dealing with a xbox that has a lot of previous malfunctioning history.

I've got a two year accidental warranty. I just want to know if i'm going to lose all my game saves and profiles etc. Obiously I know the profiles aren't locally stored and are recoverable, but it'll be a pain to recover 3 GT with about 140k GS in total -.- I'm getting a working xbox regardless, I just want to know if it's repairable :p

Your game saves and stuff are saved on your hard drive not your profile. All you have to do is remove the hard drive before you exchange it/get it repaired or whatever you were gonna do.

If you have live on your account, then all your games/profiles etc will be saved to your Gamertag,
And if your Gamertag has 140k gs then it'll take like an hour - 3 hours to recover,
But I say either get it repaired and sell it (Because once an xbox starts getting problems, it'll always manage to have another problem of some sort sometime soon) & just buy a new one to break in as you please. :)

No no no, you misunderstand... I know about what is stored where (if you read my previous post I never actually said I thought my profile would be lost, I know it's recoverable but it'll take ages to dl, and I never said that game saves weren't saved on my HDD, obviously I know they are). The thing I want to know is if my xbox is repairable or whether or not i'll be receiving a new xbox, or my old one (repaired). Basically, is everything on my xbox fucked up beyond repair?

There's no way for us to know that. I've had to send in two Xboxs for RRoD and one for a faulty disc drive. Each time I received what appeared to be a brand new console. However, people with the same problems I had have received refurbs.. it pretty much depends on the severity of the problem.
