Jagex - "98% of all bots banned" [1.5M banned accounts]

lol gf bots, RSBuddy is half-screwed because it uses a little bit of reflection so it won't be exactly the same after the update

powerbot and RiD use no reflection if I am correct

 

I just spent $50 on bots -.-
Luckily though, I just got turmoil for only 68m
If I'd waited a few days it would of cost ALOT more

Well I will play again if there's no more bot I guess... I started botting this year also; only waste $12.99 on iDungeon Pro.

why would they announce it? makes absolutely no sense....why wouldnt they just do a MASS ban like back in the day, like warning every one just seems stupid

 

Hope jagex gets it done "coming from a botter" runescape would be much better without bots. I can't even play runescape and enjoy myself anymore.

 

Lets be honest jagex i've been botting 3 accounts in f2p for 6 months you think you're going to catch me now? ;]

 

Only time will tell, Im personally undecided about the situation. On one hand I bot myself but only on three accounts so I would be disappointed if it were eliminated. However I would also really like to see mass gold farming removed from the game.

 

To be safe I'm not botting until this has blown over.

 

^^ Gold farming is a killer. With this gone, I'd be happy. I do hate skilling though, Id be ok with it if bots were gone completely.

Examing the name, I now believe they will be implementing a regular ID change to ALL items in rs.

Cluster (remember, this is just my theory) is going to be variables (therefore ID's) of objects in-game

Flutter indicates the movement of these id's, possibly rapidly.



I dont see why this would not work, as getting the ID's for every object ingame if they were constantly changing would prevent bots (particularly injection and reflection) from working at a decent rate. Now, forgive me if I'm ignorant about a method or something Jagex uses. I've done some scripting for powerbot, but nothing on a HUGE basis, so I could be wrong.

 

prices of gold won't drop anymore for a bit, but they definitely won't go up.

the good thing about this is prices of items might crash for a bit since theres less inflation

 

the funny thing before few days i was thinking to suggest to remove the scar sections since the forums are not active at all

i guess this is going to change soon


but probably i will stop playing rs if they stop rsbuddy

 

I haven't botted on my main for months. I am safe if this is true.

I'll still play regardless.
