I'm working on setting us up a server, but having problems...

Joined for a bit looks pretty interesting i'll start building soon

I know the roof style doesn't really look that nice on smaller buildings but I think it came out alright :]

 

Massive griefing going on I caught smognish doing it.





Got the diamonds from killing him with a bucket of lava :] So he went back and griefed my house

 

We got griefed pretty bad, hopefully getting anti-griefing plugins straightened away soon.

 

Damn, anti-grief should have been the first thing you guys nailed down *-*

 

Well we haven't even really opened the server yet, and awesome stranger is new to this.

Oh my fucking god, I know that user. It's my younger 12 year old brother. He must've got the IP when he sneaked on my PC. Get some greifing plug-ins installed ASAP while I go beat the shit out of my brother. I haven't been on yet today, how bad was it?

EDIT: Got on, quite bad, filled in the mine with lava from top to bedrock and burned up the houses. Ban the account: smognish it's my brothers.

2nd EDIT: He's filled in both mines with lava from top to bottom, will take ages to fix if we don't have back ups.

 

he filled both mines with lava :[ I fixed most of the main one i'm not going to mess with fixing my house untill plugins are installed.

 

Have the owner add in the WorldEdit plugin, and use the //drain [radius] command. It will empty all the lava.

P.S., learn from my mistakes, save copies of your map daily in case something happens to your map.

 

Guys I'll work on anti-griefing plugins tonight, or tomorrow during the day. I haven't had time to work on it lately. For now, don't build anything major. The server isn't really "opened" yet either lol. So just give me some time, all I've done is work this weekend. Infact that's where I'm going now. >_<

 

I'm no master of plugins and such so I'll leave the others to do it. Be thankful this happened before we actually made any big builds.

 

Alright for now we will try to fend off the griefers ourselves :]
