    This is honestly fucking scary lol. I just noticed that update and read through it and I can't believe it.. 1.5M bans thus far? No more reflection based scripts? A bot free Runescape?

    This might go down as one of the biggest events in RS history - either as the day that Jagex stops bots, OR as the day Jagex made a huge ass of themselves by claiming they could stop bots, in which the script developers will adjust accordingly within a 24 hours period. Its going to be interesting regardless. I sure hope we can still bot after this without being detected.

    If they believe that they can not detect reflection (which isn't unheard of) then they can ban almost all the bots. Bots like RID, on the other hand they can not since they are color.

    But knowing the percentage implies that they know the number of bots and knowing the number of bots implies they know who is a bot and who is not

    About fucking time. Runescape is a damn good game, one of the best around and it pissed me off to see that it was slowly being choked by botters. Hopefully this will recover what is progressing downhill. Go Jagex!

    Jagex has announced that they will finally stop 98% of runescape bots on Tuesday. Gold will Rise , Items will Rise. It's a good time to invest if Jagex Succeeds.

    There are two main types of bot cilents which are injection and reflection

    Reflection is the least detectible of the two because it ONLY reads what is on the screen and makes decision accordingly.
    Injection is a different story and in some cases easier to design code for because certain objects don&#8217;t need to be within the vicinity to be used properly
    So that means ALL AUTH CODE BOTS USE REFLECTION
    ALL RSBUDDY/POWERBOT USE INJECTION

    Im honestly glad, I hope botting goes forever. I recently got my membership back and started playing legit because jagex are actualy starting to do something about the problem :). Told myself I would never bot again on any account either.
