We have also recently detected and banned over 1.5 million botting and gold farming accounts


Today, I am really happy to say we are in the long-awaited position of being able to announce that we’ll be launching our most formidable bot-busting weapon in our history, targeting what we believe to be 98% of the bots seen in game.

Uh oh.

 

I think thats through-out the time of Runescape, and not just by this year.
However, seems alike it may effect RSGP pricing, if alot of goldfarmers has been banned recently.

 

I'm not banned... tho I don't gold farm. But who cares. I'll stop botting for a few weeks to see what happens.

Yeah, it's true. I hope most gold farmers all get their bots permanently banned. I also hope their next update really will kill all reflection and injection bots. I bot from time to time to, but I'm willing to throw all of my bots away if that means having a clean Runescape.

 

I don't like gold farmers but i like botting. haha, thank fuck my account wasnt banned.

 

The bots will always find a way they just wont go get a irl job.

hopefully this will stop all skill training bot's so i can make money off legit training.

Also, 98% of the bots? Lol, I really hope that was just a thrown out number they used to scare people. There's no way they can just kill 98% of the bots, unless I misunderstood something..
