    I think it suits really well.

    If you stretch the image too much, that would make it look unprofessional.

    Why doesn't an administrator just make the background image fade into transparency, or fade into the background color? Then it all looks like one image.

    I agree with this suggestion, although the image mite not look good stretched. The website makes alot of money so in my option why not get the banner remade with correct size.

    I do not support this, because while I do have a modern screen that doesn't suck, I like to have other windows such as IRC open on the side. I don't have multiple screens, so this is the only option to view them simultaneously. The current banner size is just enough not to stretch the page, and if it was longer the page would stretch and it would be a general nuisance to have to scroll horizontally to be able to read posts. Example image of what I mean with the two windows scheme and how a stretched page affects browsing

    However, if it is implemented in such a way that it doesn't cause stretching of the page, I do not object.

    If the size stays the same, I am indifferent because honestly that very slight color change doesn't bother me at all. I just wouldn't want to have to scroll sideways to read posts.
