Halloween Investments

I know someone just asked whether or not to upgrade from a blue mask to a red or w/e, but I was wondering if anyone had a take on the price of a blue mask and how it might change before/after Halloween.

Right now I have one, I bought it for 195m and it's at 201. These things always go up before their respective holiday, so I expected as much when I saw the 201, but I was trying to figure out when to sell it (or IF I should sell it). Keep in mind I do want to have a mask for the long term, but I don't want it to crash down to 170m or something terrible after Halloween. Another unknown is how anti-botting measures being implemented by Jagex will affect the market. If gold prices go up per mill because of the rise in demand (people who used to gold farm for themselves, and need gold, will buy from farmers which will drive up prices) I figured rares would go up.

Any thoughts?

 

If you look at the chart on the GE page, the mask has risen over the last 6 months, Jagex has confirmed they won't release anymore items like p hats or Halloween masks so your pretty safe to keep a hold of it until you have the right price.

 

Rare items will always keep a stable value, they will only ever fluctuate in price, but never stay at a drop only before holidays, rise just before for the long term, then drop a little ect. If you're planning to sell, sell JUST before, not after the holiday.

Rares do not change in value at all in terms of real-world value in the long run, so I guess it wouldn't be bad or good to invest in it.

 

Sell it to a person, not Grand exchange. I just saw some guy sell a blue mask for 145m. Go to world 1 - 3 and go to Grand exchange and say, "Selling blue mask, highest bidder."

 

its good to invest because maybe they might lower but hey cmon its a rare soon or later there gonna be none left in the game think about it
