fyi, i watched those shows on toonami like 8 yrs ago. So im a lil behind the times when it comes to anime.

Full Metal Alchemist was the only anime I ever liked. Most of the rest are completely stupid. One theme I've found to be prevalent in most anime series/movies is: there are little nuances in their script and story lines that are extremely redundant/repeating or just stating the absolute OBVIOUS about the situation they're in. It bothers me to no end. It's like the scripts are tailored to the short, widely dynamic attention span and the lackluster intelligence of a 10 year old.

And then there's parts of some anime shows that you know are provocative at best to catch the attention of the [odd] crowd that have some obsession with cartoon characters having sex. It's appalling.

 

FMA had an astounding story line; it pales all anime i have seen.

As far as this provocative anime yoiur talking bout', kids need to man up n DL some hentai.

 

FMA was fucking amazing, I'm not going to lie. It's definitely one of the only animated TV shows I still like (among them are Avatar: The Last Airbender, Spongebob, etc.)

Haven't gotten around to watching "FMA: Brotherhood", supposedly it's closer to the comic books


Oh! Fun fact, if I have a boy, I'm going to name him Hohenheim or Alfonse. Not really as a tribute to the show, but just because those are legit names.
