Why did you start playing Runescape?

I started playing runescape, because all my friends did it. Now they don't play runescape anymore

What about you guys?

 

Same story as you one friend showed me it and next everyone was playing then everyone quit....

 

Found it on miniclip, a while ago, so i tried it but didn't like it at first, i got lost after the tutorial island and didn't know what to do so i quit.
Came back 2-3 months later and actually found it fun to cut trees and burn logs lol.

 

I created an account to troll people who played runescape (for a video I was making)...but then I actually liked the game and continued to play...The account I made is actually my main right now.

 

My cousin got me into it back in 02.

 

A friend got me hooked around 2004-05. This was when RS was actually enjoyable. I loved it for a few years but one day I just stopped playing.

 

Seven years ago after school my friends and I were hanging out at Boys and Girls club computer room and they showed me Runescape. I then became addicted.

I appreciated and had a lot more fun when everything was new. Also they don't play anymore either as with everyone elses friends.

I got pink eye in fourth grade, I had to go home early, my friends talked about runescape that day, when I went on miniclip I saw it and started playing

 

+1 Am like the only 1 left who playing/botting, everyone else has a social life now

 

I started in '04 after being introduced to the game by a few friends.

Came back to it in '06 and have been active since.

 

I was paying Call of duty ONE and someone suggested it to me

 

I thought it was fun to sit by a sea and fish for 4 hours straight.
Oh, how things have changed.

 

The first day I started playing was in 2005, back when I was in grade 5! my buddy came to school and started saying he found a sweet new game. That night I tested it out and so did some of my other friends. Got so into it! was so fun. have quitted twice now for years at a time, each time i come back the game is farther and farther from what it used to be and it isnt fun at all anymore. Its too complex

 

I started in 03/04 not sure of the exact date but atleast september of 03 onwards, I fell in love straight away with the game when I got to cut down the tree make a fire and cook the shrimp I cought!

I was also excited that it had similar characteristics of FF7

 

Step bro started playing now he's into Crossfire. No more RS >.<

 

Think i started when i was 5, so that would be 2004.

Use to be a hell of a game, most popular thing among the boys in school, could do it all day blah blah.

Not so much anymore.

 

Friends got me into it, most of them have quitt now =@

 

Started playing because of friends in around 05 or 06

 

Same, because of friends. Guess I was the only one who got hooked.
