Do you swear a lot?

Cursing has so much more of an impact when you use it sparingly//appropriately. If you want to convey a statement full of hostility, or have added conviction, curse to your advantage.

I swear a good bit if I'm with friends, but I don't overdo it. I swear more in real life than I do online for some reason.

 

I swear only when I'm pissed off at something.
I dont swear at everything.

 

I do at home, just for the fun of it, haha! But I never swear when I'm out or talking with people.

 

Never, I never get mad or use it in regular speech

 

Swearing makes you sound very uneducated and pretty stupid. The more you swear, the smaller your vocabulary is and so your forced to say alot of swear words to express your thoughts and substitute for normal verbs and nouns.

With that said though, I swear quite a bit I just can't help it, I started swearing when I was pretty young and its sorta just a habit now. I am able to regulate my swearing quite well over the internet as I get to choose my words before I say them, but I make many slips in real life. Fuck those swearers!

 

Only if I'm using it to comic effect usually. I do swear a lot in texts/forums though.

 

Lol this. I probably swear a lot, but not anymore than any of my friends for that matter.

 

When it's excessive enough that it become noticeable, it's unacceptable. I find that it dulls language and shows a person's lack of a broader vocabulary.

 

In my mind, YES! In actual speaking- Not alot. Just depends on who I am around (Friends- alot more than i would my grandparents obviously)

Not really anymore, I'd say the max I swear would be around 5 times a day?

 

I swear a ridiculous amount, mostly just out of habit, not because I have a small vocabulary or try to look cool like most people try to say. >.<

 

More then i should, however i suppose being a mid-teen that's sort of expected?
It's something I'd like to move away from, but it's pretty hard when everyone around you is doing it as well.

I really cant stand those people who feel the need to put cuss words in every sentence, its ridiculous.

 

I apparently swear too much. My gf is always telling me to stop swearing...It's just a habit I have. Most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it until after I hear myself say it. The fact that my gf pisses me off all the time doesn't help either.

 

I try not to very often. I know some people that judge how much you swear as a sign of intelligence
