Both VPSInfinity and SeersHost are great providers, but if your looking for quality and a nice price why don't you checkout VPS4RSB? Im quite sure you can run 5 bots on our 3GB Xen plan! Our support staff will reply to all support tickets within 30minutes guaranteed!

 

Ok. Firstly, you need to think of what OS. The cheaper one is Linux, so you'll be wanting that.

Now, to run bots you need a minimum of 512mb, and if you do, only choose 512, then bear in mind performance will be lower.

So, you could run approx. 4 at 2056mb.
If you wanted to run more, then you'd be moving up to 5000mb, which can run approx. 6 well, and 7 with a bit of luck.


Ok, so you'll be wanting a Linux (probably CentOS) with either 2056mb or 5000mb. Now, what supplier?

The 2 biggest suppliers at the moment, are SeerHost, and.. that other one.

SeerHost is cheaper. No doubt about that, you can easily get one for 2/3 of the other supplier's price.
The only downside is that it's run by one person with a couple of helpers, and although he's pretty organised, he can't respond immediately.
This means that you'd have to wait when submitting a ticket, etc. however, I find that they're much better, and not Chinese.

EDIT: The other is VPSInfinity.

 

Might I ask how you got 2000MB for 4,a nd 5000Mb for 6? And your leaving out CPU, Ram is not the only thing to be concerned about.

 

Well, I'd assume that if you're running less, you want to try and fit in as many as possible, but with 5000, something like 6 is feasible to be run securely.

Thanks! I think I'll go with SeerHost as they seem to be cheapest. I really can't afford that much lol. But that Silver Plan can run around 3 - 4 bots, correct?

edit: owait, they trolled me, I didn't notice I had to pay for 12 months before the price is 20$... Do you know any providers, where I can run approx. 3 bots for 20$ a month?

 

3 bots, 20$ month. your looking at our OpenVZ plans!

1GB $8(supports only nexus.
1.5GB 10.50 Rsbuddy (i think you can run 2)
2GB 15(can run but you cant open a second client.)
3GB 20( can run 2 clients, 3 bots etc..)
4GB 25(you win.)

 

Big thanks to VPS4RSB, especially HvHost that helped me fixing my VPS issues. My 3GB VPS' working flawlessly now and I have no problem running 4 bots. I didn't have to run more for now but I was only using 1GB with 4 bots so I'm pretty sure 7-8 bots would be possible, depending on the CPU Power.

The short answer is 2-4, but we've heard of people getting better than this

Yes, whoever you give your login details to is allowed to use the VPS; however I wouldn't recommend sharing a VPS unless you completely trust the person (Like your brother I would assume)

I've purchased from SeerHost and I believe it's a really reliable source. I'm currently only running two neXus bots, but it definitely can run more. I will be trying VPSInfinity next month to see how it goes with them!
