McDonald's Monopoly - Have You Ever Won Anything?

Never won anything from monopoly, but one time I won a free drink because of some other promotion they were doing. I win burger king ones all the time though.

 

A friend has won an Ipod shuffle last monopoly, didn't believe her at first though lol

 

I think I won like a fry or a shake or soda before I can't remember..

 

Or they just screw with people, say there's a drawing, but there never really is one. Then they name a random person (daughter of the owner) the winner.

And it's all just marketing. NO WAY

I worked at McDonalds when I was in school and put this to the test. Me and a few friends opened up tons of cups and french fry holders and checked all of the game pieces. We ended up having tons of the same pieces, and always missing one piece to each.

 

Nope. I do not eat at McDonalds.

 

I was at mcdonalds for the first time since monopoly came back and from my large fries I won a medium fries.

 

I won the 1 million dollar prize 3 years ago. The next day, when I was walking to the bank to deposit the unmarked bills, I was mugged by none other than...
The Hamburgalur!!!!!!!

 

Cant complain about a little extra of anything for nothing.

 

Here in Australia they have this "ISPY" thing where you can apparently win cars, ps3's and so on. Just gotta collect a bunch of letters. I know plenty of people who buy maccas everyday without fail but have not won anything. Somethings fishyy

 

I have won 2 free fries, 3 mcflurries.

 

I don't get why people are saying that nobody actually wins these things...For one, they print the winners after the contest is over. Two, they are a multi-billion dollar company, you think they are going to risk it to pull a scam like this?. Three, they make so much money from monopoly (some people actually wait all year for it) that the prizes they offer are nothing compared to the extra profits it generates...They spend tons more on advertising the contest then all the prizes worth added together. For you to say that its a scam is illogical.

 

I remember that one year when mcdonalds was all over the news for apparently just giving the corporate workers the prizes themselves or something..Can't remember.

That's because there is 3 cars, and 100 play stations...

they release the 'R' in car 3 times throughout the whole country, and 1 letter of playstation 100 times. The odd's of someone you know finding those letters is like knowing someone who won the lottery.

 

yeah..i got like 2 of everything but never get the 3rd fucking peice i need..i won some free good and some bullshit snapfish prize that was a waste of fucking time redeeming becosue it was jus free pictures..

 

imagine the person that gets that one rare piece and just throws it away because he doesn't think he will win ;o that would be funny...and has probably happened..
