Pretty much for all the 14 year olds on sythe who's parents won't let you bot, this is your solution:

1). Go to power settings (The battery)

2). Click on More power options
3). Click on "Choose what the lid does"

    4). Use these settings:

    5). Click Save Changes

You can all love me later.

i'm 17 with my own alienware laptop, i use it for botting although i regret not making my own desktop for even cheaper

i've always used this, because i leave the laptop on my bed and can't sleep with the light (propped up so it doesn't overheat), it definitely works.

that being said, don't get in trouble kids, and don't let your laptop burn up. Be smart and be safe, it's just a game.

Good guide, but I would add propping the laptop on a ledge or something. This way the entirely bottom isn't covered and it can cool more.

You can also using programs such as 4t-tray minimizer to completely hide bots without the feature such as nexus.

I have a few computer down in my basement, but I would never bot anyways, when you achieve a 99 stat, you have nothing to be proud of or brag about, I do it all legit. I can't wait to start playing Rs again.
Oh, and this could help 12 year old, lol.

Hmm well since I use my desktop it doesn't really help me, although my parents probably don't like me doing it anyway. I'll keep this in mind if I do bot on my sister's laptop in the future.. :) Thanks

I have a windows hider program, using a keyboard shortcut it hides the botting windows from desktop and from the menu, really handy!

I have my own laptop. But your laptop will burn up, I honestly would not recommend this.

I already do this if I bot overnight, as I cannot sleep with the light coming from my laptop or if the lid is open. Still, good guide for the kids who didn't already know this. Thanks :)

Or invest in a laptop cooler lol, it's much more reliable than propping your laptop up.

My mom thinks botters are Nazi's so whenever she comes around I have to run away :/

P.S. This method is also good if you want to coughtorrentcough without them knowing
