If jagex wanted to they can just buy the bot themselves and decode it and just see everything they want, it might break some legal stuff but who and how is anyone going to find out.

When they changed the portal ids plenty of people got stuck at a random event. Make constantly changing portal ids and I'm sure bots would get stuck until developers found a solution.

 

Agreed, that's a simple way to hold them off I suppose.
Jagex will figure it out eventually.

 

I'm sure they already have, they just don't want to implement it.
