I don't see the problem, luring is prevalent in the rs game, which is why the sales of luring guides are allowed. I don't understand how you could possibly want to allow "forum" luring to occur. There is like 8 of these threads now, use the search button. I fully support luring guides being sold, and if someone is forum luring i think they should get banned, because we are a community, so you are turning on another member of your own community. That's why we are called a "community". All forms of organization are the same. Protect your own, and that's what the mods do, yet people like you think it's corrupt when COMMON SENSE tells you otherwise. Look at rs clans, they are the same, they wouldn't kick you out for sharing your luring guide, but if you lured a member, you would be kicked, same scenario.. And for real, quit bitchin jesus christ. This is a perfectly good rule yet all you do is try to bring out 1 incident and make it look like their hypocrites.
Yah. If there's a luring thread you shouldn't go about banning people who do it. I do, though, think of the "Find a Lure Partner" as a community thing rather than a scamming thing. Hard to decide.
I'm talking about luring other members of sythe when i refer to "forum" luring. I am in no shape, form, or fashion against 2 members of sythe luring together.
That's like saying "hey guys, you can scam anyone you want, just not a community member!", it makes absolutely no sense. Luring is scamming. You're taking items from people without their consent. A scam is defined as a dishonest scheme; a fraud, luring is exactly this. However, this thread is not about the fact that luring is allowed on the forum. It's the fact that they banned someone for it when they always say there's nothing wrong with it. It's complete bull shit.
No, luring is not [scamming], because there is a big giant ass sign that says walk into the wilderness and you could lose your items, also this is part of the game, jagex does not even ban it, so why should we??? And as far as the ban, your not think of this as a community, you are thinking as an individual. It is nothing like saying you can scam anyone, because scamming is against the rules. Luring is not scamming, it is deceit , but just because that word can be tied to both of them does not make them the same. You can tie "deceit" to botting, staking, and even pking, should all this be banned too?
This thread has nothing to do with the fact that luring should not be allowed on the forum. It's the fact that they say it's allowed, then ban for it.
Just the fact that it happened. Same as with Silly. Some people seem to be able to get away with certain things, while others can not.
