Runescape ending!?

I personally won't see it coming to an end. It is too popular of a game to just be shutted down like that.

 

I totally agree, I believe Runescape is a classic game, and has too many fans that know and love Runescape for what it is =]

Yea, jagex makes a lot and will continue to make a lot, if not more from new members. Stop wanting '06 back and start embracing '11

There's tons of people that still play and don't bot. Since you're involved with a community such as this, it doesn't seem that way to you. I only became seriously aware of botting within the last 2 years.

 

I give it another 2 years before it gets close to shutting down.

 

It was created in 1999, I don't see it going down in '13.

I will try, can't promise anything...

Anyway, all in all, Runescape won't shut down anytime soon. As I said before, they are making a big profit from new members etc.

 

jagex are all about the money... im sick of hearing all of these ideas its ending.. if they are making money then they wont end it..

 

Yes Flyers, that has been discussed numerous times. We all understand if Jagex is making money, Runescape will never end.

 

Runescape will nevrr shut down.

 

As Runescape gets worse for the veterans who've played for along time.. it's actually getting alot better to those noobs who don't know what it used to be like so they stay and refer their friends, cycle of happy noobs.

 

Scary, quit posting everything others already did.

Anyways, on topic.. Obie, you are exactly right, the members who did't play in 06 and earlier, have no clue what changed or what was added, etc. Runescape will always make a profit no matter what. The more players Runescape is loosing, the more they are gaining (New players)
