    Donation perks.

    Sorry, but I dont support.

IMO, the initial idea of giving the donators perks is good, but the implementation is all wrong.

I believe the admin intends to gain both recurring users, a small profit (or at least help with the upkeep) and also useful for advertising (not sure if there is any)

Now, what I personally believe the more beneficial way to encourage donation is give the donator more influence within the forum. For example, donators should be willing to donate to contribute more to the forum, not for a "flashy" image bar or something similar.

Your ideas are not wrong, but IMO they could create more harm than good. The forum wants users (including donators!) who are genuine, responsible and actually wish to contribute to the forum. People could see the opportunity to have this "donators" status as a chance to get one over on the newer members as they could simply abuse their power.

The custom titles etc are still useful and are a good idea. This shows the rest of the forum that this is a well-standing responsible user, which will encourage more people to donate and become such a profile.

Other tasks could include trust based roles, giving specific roles to each higher donating member. These could include roles such as writing blogs for the forum, guides, competitions within a specific forum, and many others.

Let me know any feedback or if you require some further information

People donate this much because they want to - not for perks. Perks are just extra signs of thanks that Sythe gives donators.

If you don't get what I'm trying to say let me put it like this. If your motivation to donate is solely for "more perks," then of course you're not going to agree. The perks aren't worth putting in hundreds of dollars - but for those of us that have already done so, it's awesome. Who doesn't like being appreciated?

    Donation perks.

Suggested perks are completely redundant and hardly noteworthy. If its feasible to implement them then go ahead and be done with it. Really doesn't phase the community in any which way.

A lot of people would like the extra inbox space / multiple UI's. I think the major one = More inbox space.

You may not get 100's of pms a week like other people do. Cleaning out your inbox every few days = major annoyance.
