i don't think it's the fact that they can.. jagex can also keep changing runescape so that the bots will be down a lot more.

 

Jagex doesn't have the man power to do it, and the bot coders are always going to find ways around it. It may take a day or two, but they will find a way. It is almost guaranteed.

 

Jagex is so stupid... Smh.

 

It will take a week tops for the bots to be updated...

If you want to flip the bones, do it now.

Might be a good idea to loot bots that die as well.

 

Haha jagex. Nice try but I hope they figured out there unbottable dungeoneering is being botted all the time ahaha good try jagex but you will never win this war. Can't wait to bot there next mmorpg. Stellar dawn must be botted

 

I went to frost dragons and looted a bunch of rune sets from dying bots lol

I'ev always wondered this aswell... Surely Jagex must know exactly what kind of bots are out there, the names of the different clients people use and how the bots work etc.

Honestly, If I was an employee of Jagex and trying to 'fight the bots', I would just simple download a botting client like RSBuddy and start using the scripts and learning how they worked, and what scripts people were using etc. I would browse forums like RSBuddy and Sythe too and try to get inside the cheating community and just LEARN what is out there. They can't honestly be that ignorant that they have no clue that dungeoneering can be botted, can they?

 

in the ToS of sythe theres something like "you agree that you are not an employee of JaGeX Ltd, nor know someone who works for JaGeX Ltd" and other stuff like that so jagex cant shut down sites cuz they were not allowed in in the first place

 

Jagex drastically underestimates coders of the big name bots. ArteFDK is nearly functional already, guess the masses will think the bots are dead but the truth is they will be back very soon.

 

This is gonna be a mess of a change for the economy...

 

It's somewhat true though, dungeoneering bots get a fraction of the xp that normal players can get.

 

Its always going to be the same answer EVERY SINGLE TIME, Jagex bans bots.. there profit margins go down... Its just a balancing act between pretending to Legitimate players who are clueless they are doing something with a miniscule amount of bans etc, and keeping as many member players as possible.

I mean i dont think bots could be more easy to spot, especially Blue Dragon bots... 99 Attack/Strength/defence/Hitpoints all with 26M xp in EACH SKILL + 70 agility... ALL other stats 1....... I mean seriously Jagex?

 

This update actually fucking SUCKS! I am getting my ass whooped by the Frost Dragons now and when I used to easily get 25-30 bones per trip, I'm now lucky to get 10 before I run out of food and pots. And this is on a high level character too...

 

Yeah I've seen those before.. But couldn't an employee of Jagex still make an account on the site and browse around and stuff like that?

Like I said before - If I worked for Jagex and wanted to get some intel on the bots that is exactly what I would do.. I would get out there, start botting, and LEARN as much as possible about what bots are out there, what the big names are, how the scripts work etc. Then you think they could actually do something about them if they wanted to.

I just find it funny how powerless Jagex seems to be when it comes to the "war on botting". The botters always win.

 

Obviously they know about the dung bot it has been out for months. All they have to do is search "Dung bots" and they'll find it. It wouldn't be that hard to code it to run away from the dragon when the code changes and the blue orb appears... but without cannons it will suck but I doubt it would happen that often and when it does it'll be fast and you'll be able to eat through it.
