How long has botting been around?

2005 I think. Well that's when I first heard of em.

 

There have been references to botting all the way back to 03, whether they were effective and even got off the ground, i don't know.

Since classic lol, There are bots for classic.

 

Really what are some of the bots?

 

Forever ever since the game was created or released to public someone had to cheat haha

 

there were autoclickers and macro software long before runescape...

 

the earlier bot i remember were for gnomes in rsc. I heard it was the best xp/hour at its time. I was also around when people (non-members) botted chickens at earnest, lumby, and south fally farms. And bots for the 1 goblin in lumby castle.

Do any rsc players remember all the mmmnnmmnnmmmmn accounts that had p hats and botted range in the Port Sarim Jail?

 

The first person to hit 99 range was' banned for botting. So it's been around for a while.

 

shit i remember back in the day around 2004 my frist autofisher/autotyper

i could never get the fisher to take the boat to and from kamarja, and the auto typer got replaced after typing classes in school
