I don't know what to do! Someone please help me!

I don't know what to do! I'm only 16 and my girlfriend may be pregnant. She is 3 days late and counting. Idk how much longer I can hold out and try to be the stronger one about it. I'm trying to calm her down and reassure her whilst I am just masking my feelings. I just had a mental breakdown in the shower and I've thrown up 8 times in 30 minutes. Idk what else to do, this is a real life crisis for me and I can't hold on much longer. I've already contemplated the obvious but I can never do it because I don't want to leave her alone in this. I haven't eaten, slept, gone outside, or done anything really in the past 5 days! I don't know what to do!!!! I need help please before its too late. Please! Anybody please offer support in any form you can, anything!

I've prayed for 3 hours straight and I can't help but feel so alone in this. I'm acting strong but its just to try and trick my mind into thinking otherwise. PLEASE! Its taken me a long time to write this, please someone help me!

There isn't much you can do, if she is pregnant. Do your parents know? I don't know how either of you would feel about an abortion, or putting the baby up for adoption. It sounds pretty shitty but you will be young parents. Both of you could keep the baby and try to work something out, but it will require a lot more work from both of you, with school, and trying to find a job with a child so young, etc.

I can understand the feeling of you being scared. Be prepared to be a Dad if you do decide to keep the baby. Good luck.

Your so young I would recommend abortion, she will probably be against it though, but it is what is best. You're too young to raise children and the adoption system would ruin your child.

well there are many options for you guys im not a fan of abortion but i was in the same boat as you bud so i know what your going through but u gotta think if your feeling this way how does she feel??? probably scared more than you you need to be there and support her if you were having sex with her with no protection you have to be ready for this if you guys cant keep the baby there is always adoption but dont force her into an abortion if thats not what she wants she would hate you forever and prolly never forgive you for it just breathe and relax dude

 

If she is pregnant I suggest you have an abortion, why should both of you ruin your life because of a mistake.

 

I suggest counterly, I would suggest on of those surrogate carrier things where you find a family and they pay for all her bills but they get the baby. There are many families who can't have children that would like a child, but I think if abortion is what you want then no one should stop you; I think it should be a last resort though.

 

Well I'm 25 and my gf currently said she's had an abortion before. She also told me if she did get pregnant she wouldn't do it again even if it was best for us. I'd assume your best thing you can do is an abortion, you're young. You have college coming up and that's not easy with a 2 year old.

 

I mean I've given it thought and everything but she wants an abortion flat out. I can graduate at the end of this year if needed and can work, but she is 15 and gonna be 16 in march... Dude, my girlfriend has been late before. Is she taking the pill? Sometimes a rise/decline in hormone levels can fuck up girls reproductive system and it could take a while for it to settle in and become consistent. Also, even though girls periods are supposed to follow a set routine, it can be altered by illness/stress etc. I know during my girlfriends exam period she was nearly 5 days late! I wouldn't really worry about it (I know it's easy to say, but I've been there) and here's my take on it:
Expect the worst, and if she is pregnant, there are other options you can take like abortion or adoption. Just keep calm and reassure your girlfriend everything will be okay. Being stressed out doesn't help ANYONE and you always have options dude. Take it calm and don't do anything stupid. Wait till the test then you and your girlfriend can talk about options and there's always help available

 

Being late happens all the time!! My GF was late 2 months and i didint freak out! So relax, theres a bigg chance shes not pregant. Just wait for the test. Let us know how it went.

In all honesty, I know this sounds stupid, but before you do anything else: Have you even had sex yet? I have seen threads like this about couples that haven't even had sex. If so, did you use a condom? If not, then we can begin the real analysis.

How sure are you really about this situation?. It's only been a couple of days, so you might want to wait at least a week or get a positive on 2 or more tests before you freak.

What are your opinions on abortion? or Democrat or Republican? or whatever... If you have a problem with it, you may be screwed.


So basically: If your parents know about this, ask for help. If not, you can consider talking to your GF about talking to your parents. Make sure to tell all 4 parents, unless one of them is dead or something. You can talk to the grave it it helps you, however.

If not: If you want to go with an abortion, make sure you have the cash, and if not, make sure you can get to it quick. Also make sure it's legal for you and everything.

If you do not want to go with an abortion, talk to your parents right away. They have to know. All of them, Then try to find a solution for the baby. Either give is away, or keep it. Either way, be prepared to pay hospital fees. It can be pretty expensive. Also be prepared for alot of criticism and so on. Do not drop out of school for the baby, no matter what, your life is more important than its life is.

No matter what happens, do not let religion, racial prejudice, or your feelings get stuck in your decision making process. They are all unimportant and exist in order to ruin your life. I'm serious. Especially at a time like this, too.
