''Verified'' Sections

I think that a ''Verified'' section would help everyone on Sythe.

Asking a minimum of posts (Not spam)/vouches for the ''Verified'' section of where there's a need, would help preventing scams, as there's just too much scammers now days.

It would help Sythe being more safe for everyone and there could be less scammers, because everybody know that there's scammers sites and there's Sythe... If you guys know what I mean.

I support, but I imagine that this can hurt less well-known sellers trying to sell their goods/services because I would imagine many buyers only looking at this verified section and not even taking a look in the "regular" section.

 

True, but Verified sections would probably have higher prices than regular one.
Plus, there's only a need for verified section for like: Skill training, upgrades and accounts since RSGP doesn't really matter because people tend to look for donators.

Although I don't doubt that there would be less scams if such a section were implemented, it further monopolizes the market towards top sellers and older members who already get a majority of the sales. This wouldn't be fair to incoming "legitimate" Sythe users who would be forced to post their topics in the neglected "Unverified" sections.

Could you please backup your statement as to how a 'verified' section would help reduce scams?

Plus it would simply confuse and cluster the existing section(s).

 

Add a sub-section called 'Verified' in the existing section.

It would help reducing scam by letting only verified members to post in there. Posting a simple sticky to mention what 'Verified' means at the actual moment would help members to know it.

Failing to read the sticky and post in this thread could be warned at the beginning then banned for a certain number of time.

This will only benefit the very trusted members, and it will deter new legit members.
