negative paypal balance

ok so im 15 and i have a negative paypal balance of 409.27 dollars and im really scared first i got a call from paypal telling me i was negative and should get it taken care of and told them i would but never planned on it the call everyday and today i got the mail and got a letter from a company that goes by I.C. system im guessing this is a collection agency and im scared ill get sued or have to go to court i live in the US what do i do! please contact me at my email [email protected]

 

How did you come to get 409.27 dollars negative on your PayPal? If you can tell us that, we can probably point you in the right direction.

 

You will not get sued, now you just need to pay the collection agency.

 

If you don't pay it, nothing will happen. They will just keep annoying you. It's only things that are around $5,000+ that they actually will come after you for.

If you feel that unsafe, pay it. If you were scammed, or in this case, charged back on, tell them. They've no right to take money belonging to yourself, no matter what the case.

First off, take a deep breath and relax.

You aren't in any trouble here.. you are most likely being contacted by a collections agency whose job is to collect the money that you owe to PayPal. This is more annoying than it is bad, you will most likely not to taken to court over such a small amount or have anything bad happen to you.

I would highly reccomend speaking to one of their agents though, and coming up with some sort of a payment plan if you have a job and have means to pay them back. Why is your account $400 overdrawn anyways? The sooner you deal with it, the better. This is something that could go on to your record and negatively affect your credit down the road, so I would try and sort it out if I were you. But no need to be really scared, nothing will really happen if you don't pay it. But be prepared to recieve tons of letters, calls, and having Paypal discontinue their service with you in the future.

My paypals are all limited and negative by like 200$ they done nothing to me YET and its been 6 months.
