Does any one have trouble conencting to RuneScape or Jagex websites?

I just came home from a day at somewhere and it seems like and site related to Jagex is not loading. All other sites and my internet connection and working well;

 

Runescape and jagex.com work for me you sure it's not your firewall

 

Interesting, I have had trouble on occasion in the past. I usually had to completely uninstall java and then reinstall, but that was just for my situation.

 

Check your firewall and then update your java.

Maybe your java is unsupported?
I remember them having a warning saying "Your version of java will no longer be supported." when I tried to log on with a pc last month.

 

Try clearing your cache, flushing your DNS, etc.
To flush your DNS go to:
Start>Run>"CMD">ipconfig /flushdns

 

I've had problems in the past but ever since I got my new computer, the website has been loading just fine.

I would try some of the things people have suggested in here, aswell as delete all your temporary internet files & empty the cache. When my internet is being extremely sluggish, I sometimes do that and it reduces load times and just helps things run a bit smoother. It could also be a Java problem (make sure that you have the latest version), or the actually RS website might be experiencing temporary difficulties for people trying to access the site right now. Since I am already connected ingame, it wouldn't effect me.

 

Check your firewall
Update Java
Clear ALL History, Cache, Cookies... (Usually works for me)

 

I sometimes got it but that was like a year ago.

 

Even though WOW doesnt lag, and CS, and battlefield dont lag at ALL, RS always does. No matter what my settings are, and its always been that way. god forbid im in world 18 pking right? my only guess is that the entirely 'online' nature of the programming and game itself is what causes the lag.
