Why must we worry about death?

I mean honestly you're bound to die at some point. It's getting to a point where if you see or hear that someone has been killed you must show sympathy to those people. It's kind of obvious that we are all a walking target and if the shot misses we are just getting lucky. Even in your own home you're not safe. So why is it the killers fault? It's apparent that killing another human-being is second nature. What do you think?

 

People can control their actions, they know what's bad and what isn't.
By killing someone you're not hurting the person, you're hurting their family and friends because they loved that person andthey are going to miss them.
If we did not have emotions then murder would probably be acceptable.

People like to have some control, and to be able to shape their destiny. The idea of not being able to foresee their death scares people, lack of control.

 

Yeah, when I tell people I don't realy care that someone died of cancer or somthing I always get shuned. I don't wan't to sound selfish but its nothing to do with me.

 

I'm nowhere near afraid of death I'm just afraid of how I might die.

 

OP is either trolling hard or morally confused and ignorant of human compassion, ethical consciousness, and the difference between the inevitability of death and the inexplicable act of taking a life prematurely.

Under what circumstances other then war would justify prematurely taking a human life. Don't replay if someone abused your mum , sister , even then taking that persons life would not be justified by the fact that: everyone dies at one point. Which is what you stated in the OP. If you do in fact take a life before nature intended, then you should suffer the repercussions.

Also, when mourning over the dead, you do not only feel sorry for the victim but also the dead's family and close friends, whose lives have dramatically changed due to the loss of someone close to him.

If you feel that feeling sorry for someone who lost a big part of their life is annoying or unnecessary then you need get your head checked out again, for feeling sorrow and sadness for others are normal when associated with death.

When you DIE, you aren't even in existence witnessing it, so what's their to fear?
