Jagex Is a Money Hungry Company!

I have been arguing with them, they locked my account because my credit card got canceled. They said that I owe them $70.00 for 3 months of membership. The reason its $70 is because the credit card told them to stop charging and Jagex would not stop charging. and it was some weird charge. Credit card company Gave them multiple warnings, still didnt stop charging so now I cant get on my main. And then a Mod for Jagex tells me that "oh well this is customer service not billing" after I gave them multiple reasons why they shouldnt charge me. So I message billing after a while they stopped messaging me because I listed how they are at fault..

 

either pay the money, make a new account, quit, bitch some more and bitch at your cc company for stupid charges...which ever you pick, you'll still have to deal with it...there is nothing to be done..

 

This has been going on for a lot of people for a while now.

 

Nothing new, you either have to pay Jagex or make a new account.

 

Just pay them for it, you can't do anything else.

 

Its just the fact they wont message me back.

 

1) Pay JaGeX and carry on playing on your main
2) Don't pay them and quit or make a new account

Simple choose what one you going to do !

 

This is an unfortunate situation but I doubt Jagex will budge, or accept any of the blame. The only thing you can do if you want your account back, is just pay the damn money and move forwards.

 

Bro, if you really CARE that much about your main, just fucking pay the 70$, and bot the fuck out of rs, and sell the GP for your 70$ back..?

 

This is also a good way of saying "Fuck You!" to Jagex

 

Actually the problem was caused by YOU not cancelling the membership..? they cant take your money if you tell them not to. but you told them to lol

 

Pay Jagex if the account is of great value
Or just make a new account.

 

Jagex LTD made Runescape for profit only anyways they can't give 2 shits about there players.

Stupid thread is stupid. Of course Jagex is a company driven by money, as with every other company in the same vein. That doesn't mean they're a collective of horrible, morally reprehensible individuals. They develop and continue to keep Runescape alive exclusively for money. Im sure they gain a certain artistic satisfaction bringing to life the universe they conceived, but this isn't some underground all-inclusive university operation in some aspiring nerds basement- providing RPG joy for the masses free of cost.
