    Laptop problems...

When I play online games such as WoW, Guild Wars, any game I have to download pretty much...

After a few minutes my laptop screen will just go either blue/green with black lines running vertically up and down the screen all over... I have no idea what's causing this.

Could one of my video card drivers be failing? I've never had any problems before and I haven't done anything out of the ordinary.. just all of a sudden started doing this. It isn't overheating because I could just turn my laptop on and start up the game and it happens.

All help is appreciated, thanks. :)

My bet is overheating(doesn't take long for it to heat up when you start a game, like I open blackops and within a minute it's sitting at 70c)
    Check the temps...

Like Noodles:) said, it could be overheating. When I OC my 6770 too high I tend to get that when I start games.

Download HWMonitor, run it while playing a game or doing something graphically intensive.

your CPU is probably overheating and cant handle it, or your video card is flawed

    70c while in a game?

If so that should be fine.

It can withstand up to 120C before it starts to melt. I don't like anything going over 80 to be honest. Have you tried updating your graphic card drivers? Also how old is your laptop?

I had that problem. It is defiantly overheating and it will most likely end up completely breaking (one of the internal components).

Correct, the cooler your hardware the longer it tends to live.

You should look into laptop cooling to ensure your GPU doesn't die as quickly as it's on the path to.

Yeah, 70c while in game/running other things. Should I buy a better cooling fan or what?
What can I buy that might correct this problem?
