Merchanting/Flipping Guide.



This is a small guide showing you basics of merchanting.

Step 1: Find an item [ Example: Law Rune ]

Step 2: Buy for +5%

Step 3: Write down the price you brought it for. In my case, i brought for " 162 "





Step 4: Now re-sell for -5%







Step 5: Look at the price difference and see if its worth merchanting.!

Step 6: In my case its 2gp difference. For runes that is worth it because its
usually 2-4 gp difference.

Step Buying/Selling

Buy for : 160 gp
Sell for : 162 gp

Step 7: Now do in big bulks. I recommend doing up to 24,000 at a time.

Step 8: Look at profits once brought / sold.

Heres a few items i merchanted in 15 mins






Step 9: Dont stick with one item, be creative you can almost merchant anything.

How long do you wait before re-selling the item? It takes time for the item to sell yes? Because your selling it for 2 GP more than you bought it ( obviously the GP difference changes, im just using your example )?

For this to be very profitable i assume you would have to use expensive items, or extremely large quantities.

 

You must wait intill the price rises I recommend checking the Runescape GE also Large Quantities of good items like law runes maybe rune things or Natures something a little expensive.

 

That's roughly about 50k profit... and you should know very well there's a limit every 4 hours... So I don't think this is a really good guide..

 

If you buy 25k runes, you can sell them straight away and then buy another 25k and repeat over and over. Same with any item limit. You don't have to wait 4 hours.

Long term investing/flipping is better tbh.

 

May I ask what the difference between flipping and merchanting is?

 

Seems a little slow, I am working on a nice pker anyway but thanks.
