Thoughts On Storm Of Armadyl Spell

What are your thoughts on the Storm Of Armadyl Spell? Complete ownage? Will it be degraded by Jagex?

 

I've seen some videos of it on youtube whilst mage boxing, and it seems to have completely defeated the point of using any other spell. People were getting constant 30s with it. Seems like its too much, they definitely need to degrade it, i understand its suppose to be powerful because its new and it doesn't have any side affects besides the damage like say, Ice Barrage, but theres no point in using other spells in mage boxing at this point..

 

It wasn't created for staking though, i think Jagex created it to balance out the combat triangle. The hand cannon helped rangers a lot and this spell is doing the trick for pkers in the wildy. The quest is long and difficult and you need like 270+ QP's so not many people have it or will bother getting it even though it owns.

 

It's not hard to beat with blood barrage.

 

Are you saying this whilst on drugs Even with the healing of blood barrage, the storm of armadyl spell owns it because of constant high hits.

 

It evened out the triangle. Keep it.

Keep it for sure. Mage had been underpowered forever pretty much. It's about time it owns.

 

It is the sexiest spell on Runescape, as well as the best IMO.

Combined with the Armadyl Battlestaff, I'd use it over melee anyday (If I had it) lol.

 

I think its not strong enough. I want to see a 500+ with magic one day

 

I think the consistency of the hits should be nerfed. I HATE the pjers that use it... HATE.

Yep, I'm going to spending a lot of $$$$$$$$$ to get like 100 quest points and get the quest done.

 

Yeah, this was a pretty smart move by Jagex, it evens out the combat triangle, not only that, but it forces people mentally to do more quests, get higher stats, and even raise the demand for mage training.

Personally, if this spell was never released, and mage stayed the way it is before, I would only make pures with 25 magic (just for the teleport) or not at all (if members with tabs) and only train range/strength.

Now that this awesome spell has came out (that there's a minimum hit for this spell, no misses even if your opponent has super mage armor/prayer) it totally forces me to re-calculate my strategies in the future.

 

Yes, also every spell cast on the opponent lowers defence by 1.

 

Were talking about the triangle because NOW its more even then ever.

 

doesnt really balance the cb triangle imo. it has so many requirements chaotic maul doesnt even take that long

 

The spell is more accurate than c maul + you can teleblock, entangle and use the spell.

 

If it didnt hit as high through mage prayer I would have no problems with it as both melee and range protection prayers help loads if you getting PJED but if they use spell with it on it hits right through it which is ridiculous.
