Staff Feedback

Anonymous feedback= moderately ridiculous, haha.

I do indeed login and do moderation duties daily, but I'll admit I have become less community involved. A lot of threads don't interest me. I'll work on improving, I suppose.

 

I think when most people criticize the activity of staff members, they are greatly misunderstanding what really goes on. Most people judge staff "activity" based on how much they post in the spam forum or "off-topic" section. While some staff members may slip into quiet from time to time, it doesn't mean they aren't doing their job. If that was the case then they would be demoted or put on probation as previously said. I know that I, and many others, are grateful for what they do, and understand that the staff have a life too. We should respect that and not criticize them based on how much they post.

 

Sin - Great job in the account recovery section. Sorry I haven't been there to assist you lately as we are the only two who ever touch that section Global wise. And a thanks to Giverny and Govind who deal with our resets pretty quickly.

Glad to be getting some members back faster then usual.

Awesome Stranger - - constantly moderating, good job.
Cosrob97 - - moderating all over the place, just like a global.
Determinate - - haven't seen you on as often as when I first joined
Djweasel - - awesome at answering scam/spam reports, but haven't seen you on much the past few days
FlyingToast - - not banned yet? That's a good sign lol
JohnK - - Active
KerokeroCola - - Active, good job handling about half of the dispute section in one go.
Kinaesthic - - I just see you doing good GFX
MohtasaUnique - - I observed a lot of thread-locking done by you, lol.
n4n0 - - Probably one of the more harsh/strict staff members, but I won't pretend that that's always a bad thing
Scottay - - Haven't been paying attention to you, unfortunately, so I can't say anything about your activity, but I just saw you online. Hopefully that means regularly active.
SuF - - Active since you were (re)promoted.
Wulfspade1 - - Shame that you got banned, you were great before you were temped though.


Clashfan - - Don't see you on as much as others
CSkiffingt1 - - Decent work since the promotion to global
Farcast - - Decent work
FireZ - - You have the magical ability to check every forum at the same time. You get things done really quickly, gj

Giverny - - Does a lot of work around Sythe, great work
Matthew - - Good job constantly updating the donation center. Also FYI I'll be sending some cash by mail by donation, so keep your eyes open.
Govind - - Can't really say much for activity, because from what I know a lot of your work is done behind the scenes
Sythe - - Haven't saw you post in a while, but maybe that's me.

 

I agree, I wish people would feel comfortable speaking their mind honestly and directly.


Anyways I think for the most part the staff is doing a good job, it is always nice to see reports completed so quickly.

 

Alright, if you want people to be honest.

I honestly don't see you around anymore at all. When you say most threads don't interest you It leads me to think you're uninterested in the site. I can understand if real life gets in the way, but if you're just genuinely bored of being here then there is no point in you being a Moderator anymore.

 

Being a Moderator doesn't necessarily mean you have to be community active, in my opinion. I think as long as you live up to your duties, it's good.

Huge Compliment for Matthew - Your paypal donation system work is absolutely amazing, especially the fact you've wrote a 1000 line API for it, excellent job!

Determinate - Have noticed an activity drop, but it's understandable with more rs mods in-place.

KerokeroCola - Good, active, consistent. Overall a very good staff member.
Kinaesthic - You had a shocking month, but at least you're trying to improve this month.
MohtasaUnique - Going through your recent post the whole last week you've only posted in the spam... I'd like to see you more active in your section.
n4n0 - You're an excellent mod and such but sometimes I find your attitude a bit much.
Scottay - Been perfect since day 1. Keep up the great work.
SuF - Been above good but not excellent.



Clashfan - Been doing a much better job than last month
CSkiffingt1 - Haven't been the most active this month, but at least you're doing disputes when you are on (from what I can tell from your post).
Farcast - Been very good this month .
FireZ - Always consistent.
Giddy - Your activity hasn't been the best this month
Karl - Sometimes I feel you jump the gun too much defending/replying to constructive feedback. Members can't see what we do behind the scenes and only judge on what they can see - so if even if they are active behind the scenes you don't need to defend them all the time, but when necessary. The staff should be active on the scenes too.
Nick - Haven't modded at all this month... Pretty disappointed.
Sacro - Been severely inactive.
Sin666 - Excellent.


Giverny - Hope you get better. But overall you're a lovely person.
Matthew - Been wonderful updating the donation centre and other things. It's wonderful we see you on scene more now.
Govind - Always online and respond to my pms instantly. Not a problem in my book.

I agree. Of all of the Support mods, I'd say SuF is by far the best.

n4n0 - I don't like that you were repromoted. Not because you scammed, but because your attitude returned. When you were finally pardoned and let back into sythe, you were kind and gentle to all. We became friends and I wondered if I had imagined that you had a bad attitude before. It was easy to chat and joke with you. Then you were promoted to OMM and I began to see a change. You no longer joked around, which I thought was understandable, but you also began acting higher than me. I could no longer ask you things too. Then you became a mod...your attitude returned in full swing of being the top guy on sythe. I can no longer chat with you period, despite all the kindness and sympathy I showed you upon your return...and you returned the kindness! What happened n4n0? I understand you have to act professional, but there is a limit. Sorry if this offended you.
Scottay - Great mod, although I feel you were more open to everyone when you weren't a mod/when you were recently promoted. Now I feel it is harder to pm you. I could be wrong about this observation though. I still love you as a mod/tc though
