Jagex Banning Bots ----must Read-----!

I did read that actually, and I am asking for clarification. Because when he listed RSBuddy scripts specifically, he said RSBuddy FREE scripts. Didn't mention a thing about PAID scripts, and I was wondering if they were coded differently in order to protect you from getting banned.

Also - is this only detectable while you are actually USING the bot? Or can Jagex look at your account later on (for any reason) and discover that you have previously botted because they notice BCEL/Injection connected to your account in the past? I just want to have as much information in mind as possible before I go risking my main account.

 

The thing I'm worried about is the mandatory email verification.

Plus reflections are just as easily detected as BCEL.

 

That's true, but not always the case. This e-mail thing just pretty much guarantees account recovery no matter the situation.

 

honestly if i would listen to all these bot bust alert i would never bot. Seriously i'v gold farmed for over 3 months now and NEVER recieved a ban...and guess what if i do il just start all over again because its that easy to make accounts to gold farm

 

True. But who knows jagex might go really into bot banning, and gold-farming will get almost impossible? I doubt it though.

 

They threaten to ban and have mass banned for years, nothing new

How can you say botting won't be a part of the game anymore? Jagex repeats themselves every update claiming that they will step up their banning process, but the fact is that botting is becoming so accessible that over half the accounts you see are bots. As long as you aren't belligerent with your hours of play or extremely unlucky, you shouldn't have much to worry about.

 

I really hope their serious this time. It's getting too shitty. I'd rather have a fun game.

 

They obviously wouldn't announce it to the public before trialling their bot system and none of my accounts have been banned, so idc.

 

They do this crap all the time. Rs couldn't be as successful without bots.

 

Jagex are so dumb, if they really wanted to stop all bots they'd just IP ban every single botter. But they've had nearly 5 years to do this, so it's clear they've realised how much money it makes them so they pretend to start war against bots when really they're just egging them on.

 

Exactly the point. Hence why it is pointless to buy/sell accounts anymore

 

There is no way to detect a bot unless it bugs/does the same EXACT thing over and over again EXACTLY the same way

 

FOG is right. If you're using a good bot it doesn't matter how long you play/what you do. Most of the premium bots you can buy these days have fluid player-like movements which make it nearly impossible to get banned for, Jaqex just can't get enough information.

I do not bot myself, but my friend has had the pro fisher bot for about 5 months now and has never been banned botting atleast 6 hours daily.

In other words, don't be stupid about botting if you are going to, if you don't want the ban either bot rarely or invest in a good bot.

 

they can post that they banned 200k bots and legit players will eat it up, but it doesnt mean its true

 

Mmm....ive got 10 f2p accounts with 80wc + that have been botting the last few weeks. none of them banned, there only seems to be more bots turning up everyday wonder what the p2p training spots are like now

 

I've been botting for the last 5 months, 0 infractions.
I'm not sure when Jagex's annoucements against bots will actually be real.
