First Backround with Photoshop.

ok, so this took me a few hours to make, yes i took a picture off of google to test it out but this guy had stuff all over it, so i removed it all fixed it to look like the universe you see now. So i need your feedback, do you think i should continue making GFX and trying to figure out more, or should i just stop and do something else?

 

It would be helpful if you posted your stocks so we can see what you did.

Then I can give you a full CnC, but until then. The text is pretty bad, you need to learn to blend it and not have it centered because it ruins the flow of the piece. Another thing you have to consider is will this hurt your eyes after a while?

Stick with it, just find some tutorials on deviantart and learn.

 

Text is there as sort of a water mark i guess you could say, text isnt gonna stay there. Ill be adding more stuff later, but im figuring more and more out as i look into this.

Ty, i was just about to post stock anyways im working on a signature but it defiantly isnt the greatest. im just progressing over time is all, trying new things.

However how long have you had experience with Photoshop?

 

First time using it today. Downloaded it last night and was messing with it today.

 

What did you base this wallpaper off? And did you make it completely from scratch? If so, I got to say that you have done a very nice job!
I'd like to see maybe some orange + yellow in there too, maybe make it a bit more mysterious, like a nebula or so

Get the glow off of that, it doesn't look smooth.. Kindof ruins it in my opinion.

 

No, this is some other dudes project, i was learning the basics, such as removing internal text and removing objects in the picture to make it look better. I working on my own universe right now.

 

What have you changed except remowing few things?

 

Like i said, i didnt mess with much, but im working on that universe again, and like kin said, im going to add new colors to it.

 

I find that the text you have used (I know it has been pointed out) stands out like a boner at a funeral. The smudging around the edges has been overused and detracts. The quality overall looks a bit cheap, like there has been a pastel filter added. Your are best to play with blending modes instead, and try to get things to mesh.

 

Keep in mind, this is my first, so dont expect high of my projects. And yes im working on meshing things together, still trying to figure it out.
