My apologies if something similar already exists or already has been suggested in the past.

    _____________

    Banned Users Archive

    _____________

Every now and then, a Sythe user appeals a ban, and some moderators don't have an idea of what the situation of that ban is about. In certain cases, I can imagine that only one moderator knows the exact reason of the ban. If this mod would ever leave Sythe, then others will have too few information to give a decent judgement in case this banned user ever disputes his ban. My suggestion is, if something similar isn't already implemented, that a section solely for banned users would be created in the Staff Lounge where every mod has access to. In certain cases, you may want to post them in the Upper Staff Lounge, but aye.

A thread would have the following title:

(Sythe Username) - (Ban Reason Here)

    For example: Dave.RS - Scamming

A thread would be made with a set template, just something I whipped up with not too much thought:

    Code:
    Sythe Username(s):
    E-mail:
    PayPal address if known:
    RuneScape Username(s) if known:

    Ban Explanation:

Concerning Posts: links to all posts/scam reports go here.

All incoming scam reports concering the person, even after his ban, could be archived - and the links added in this thread. Imagine someone had been banned for scamming 15$ - but had recovered plenty more after his ban. He could try to get back on Sythe after appealing, and only refunding 15$. For this reason, any scam reports after someone had been banned, can be archived and a link to the archived scam report should be added inside of it.

This is just a thought I've had, and it may still have some issues inside, but I'm sure this could be helpful.

I'm aware it's a bit more time consuming; but with a template to fill out, it can't take that long, and I guess it could be helpful on a more accurate judgement for any future ban disputes. In a glimpse every mod has exact to which moderator banned the person, the exact ban reason and any open scam reports.

    Thoughts on this?

We're currently working on a way to view a record of past bans (we can only see ones that are active right now).

It currently looks like this: http://screensnapr.com/v/zQHeyW.png
