Is this a legit sentence?

Does this sentence contain any gay mishaps that I'm just too gone to notice?...
Is it a run-on?
Could it exist in a Research paper?

Run on and should be broken in a few places.

I would either make it into two + sentences or remove some words.

But I'm not an English teacher nor is it my decision.

The information can definitely be a part of a research paper though.

 

I second this. Also, "From groups like the Rock Steady Crew, who is made up.." the is should be "are."
