VLS Tank?

Okay so i'm playing a private server right and I had an account with these stats:

Attack: 78
Strength:99
Def:70
HP:99
Pray:1
MAGE:99
Range:99
Sum:1

Combat 99

I've decided to do all the same stats except:

Def:99
Pray:34

Which would make it around 111 Combat level.

How useful could these stats be in actual runescape?

 

in all honesty.. not havingp ray at THAT combat level is going to hurt you bad. i would ATLEAST get 43. it may work out if you do some VLS to DHarok switches.

 

Since you put down 1 prayer I'm assuming it's for staking. If so then that build would probably be best for 2h staking with dfs/vls combo. Not sure if those stats have any use outside the duel arena though

 

if you read below he stated 34 prayer on the official servers that only grants him the melee boosting stats no over head prayers, which imho is a bad idea.

 

I agree with them. At 100+ (particularly 110+,) you're going to get absolutely slaughtered without overhead prays. You need at least 43 imo.

 

These days prayer is extremely important, people are less and less worried about the extra combat levels you recieve from prayer because with prayer these days you are basically a sitting duck. Not to mention, you will get absolutely destroyed by any opponent with offensive prayers like turmoil, and it would be extremely stupid to bring anything expensive into the wilderness (you would have to be willing to lose whatever you were wearing every single time you died).

But aslong as you had some prayer, that build would be pretty decent, just a basic barrows pure It would leave you a few options and some freedom in your PKing, allowing you to pretty much do whatever you wanted. One of my chars is very similar to that

 

I'd stick with 70 def 78 Att and 99 str. That's owns all it's lvl

On private servers you can spawn or get items cheaply , on runescape vls costs 30m , and unless you can pk more than 30m in a hour , dont get it

 

prayer would help in real runescape... and get turm
