How do I make good money off Melee'ing, If you will...

Well recently im very bored on my acc have 99dung so i got all the chaotics i have bandos armour set, fc, 99str, 95 att, 70 def, 70 pray, 95 hp...

and i just want to know what can i kill to make good money, and i mean good money.

I saw revenants but dont wanna risk going to wildy where i cant tele cuz ive heard of clans running through there.

Also im 80 slayer if that helps...

I dont really want to try GWD bosses as I cant solo them, would like something i can solo to make money.


If anyone knows any ideas, plz lmk! Thanks guys!

 

Barrow? Try making lots of runs or but artebarrows

 

Other than boss monsters/stuff like that, not much big money in PvM unless you go for like 99 Slayer and have a Yak to bank all dragon bones/ashes. I love bossing for my income, as it is very fun and easy once you get the hang of the boss you are killing.

Tormented Demons can be solo'd, although I dunno how good you are at prayer switching/attack style switching.

You could also try solo'ing DKs, if you have a good Range level. Maybe bring a mage along to kill Rex, since he is weak to mage. You would still be solo'ing the other 2 DKs, the mage would just want to be on your world so he doesn't get fucked by the kings you are killing. Having a Yak would make your profits a lot higher so you can bank the Dag bones and Hides without having to leave every 10 minutes.

Maybe kill some waterfiends for 99 Summoning and then do slayer and make about 100m+

 

Barrows is fairly shit unless you get a drop straight into doing it and only consider that short term profit. Long term it averages out to like 150-200k per hour.

Glacors are alright money I suppose, but a bit of an effort. You can make about 85M per week doing them with current boot prices, though, and not many people do it anymore because of the effort to cash ratio.

If you haven't done WGS, you can't kill Glacors...the quest to unlock Glacors requires WGS (Ritual of the Mahjarrat [ROTM]).

I'd say your best bet is to get your Attack/Defence/HP/Prayer (and Summoning, assuming it isn't 88+/96+) up and then try some real bossing out. If you max and get Uni or Yak, you can Solo/Duo/Trio any boss effectively except, of course, Nex.

 

hmm...i see, well im at 70summ atm, not gna get my def past 70...ill do some waterfiends and try to get my summ up, and which GWD boss is best to solo for max profit? i know they all got there unique shit, but which is best in your opinion?

 

Arma and Sara are the most worth it soloable bosses in my opinion. Even as far as teaming go, I only see Arma Sara and Nex worth it unless you are just messing around.

Cant, Havent done WGS...im trying to get all those quests done while getting curses at the same time, but i dont have time or patience to do them, and i have no RSGP to pay for it -___-:embar:

 

I would try Barrows, Slayer, Bossing, Dragon hunting (greens, blues, frosties), TD's, DK's. Those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Then of course there is always just simply camping at medium level monsters for long periods of time in order to collect their drops. Not extremely profitable, but if you are maxing out your character then you will make decent cash overtime.

For example, on my journey to 99 strength, I did 2 strength levels (97-98 and 98-99) at Fire Giants and made about 10M in drops. I just picked up everything they dropped and in the end it really added up

 

I was thinking about going back into slayer to get 80-85 and dragon hunting crossed my mind as well....as for mid lvl monsters that would come with slayer

 

Yeah Slayer and Dragon hunting are actually fairly good ways to make money. It seems kinda slow, but it all adds up overtime and if you are working towards a goal, like maxing out your combat, it will happen faster than you know Other than hunting specific monsters for rare loot, this is probably your best method, and by far the easiest with the least requirements.

 

You can tele away from clans PKing at revs, just use a charged glory or ring of wealth.

 

Slayer or frosts I'd say mate

Doesnt it not allow you to tele past lvl 20 wild? Revs are at 26

I love doing Sara at GWD. So much more fun than repetitive Bandos, and easier than Arma. Zamorak just isn't worth it, with stuff being worth so little.

It's generally the least crowded, too.
